Nodes that respond correctly earn rewards, while unreliable providers are identified. 0G Data Availability: Verifiable Access at Scale For both AI and decentralized applications, storing data is not enough. The network must also guarantee that data is available and verifiable when needed. 0G Data Availability addresses this requirement by continuously sampling stored data through randomly selected DA nodes. Instead of checking entire datasets, these nodes verify small portions and submit proofs to the network. Validators who stake 0G tokens finalize these checks, creating a fast and scalable verification process. Because the same validator set can support multiple networks, 0G DA can scale horizontally. By late 2025, Layer 2 ecosystems such as Optimism and Arbitrum were already using 0G Data Availability to support applications that rely on large volumes of data. Beyond AI: Gaming and DeFi Although AI is the primary focus, 0G’s modular design makes it useful in other areas.
