Data: The "former largest ZEC long position holder" on Hyperliquid has once again increased their long positions; previously, the account's unrealized profit was slashed from tens of millions of dollars to $1.42 million.
ChainCatcher News, according to Coinbob's popular address monitoring, in the past hour, the "former largest ZEC long" whale (0x96e) on Hyperliquid increased their ZEC long position by 5,000 tokens, bringing the total position to 7.5 million USD, with an average price of 547 USD. ZEC is currently quoted at around 500 USD.
This ZEC whale has been opening and rolling over ZEC long positions with an initial capital of 2.21 million USD since November 3, when ZEC was around 380 USD. The average price reached as high as 555 USD, and the principal once grew to 10.5 million USD within a week. They were once the largest ZEC long on Hyperliquid, but after the price of ZEC dropped, their long position is now ranked second.
Recently, since ZEC fell below 600 USD, they have gradually reduced their position and cut losses by selling up to 40,000 ZEC, and deposited over 500,000 USD into Hyperliquid as a backup. The position size dropped from 37.01 million USD to about 5 million USD, recording a loss of about 960,000 USD, and the principal fell to 1.42 million USD.
