Crypto Market Overview 25–30 May – Institutional outflows weigh on sentiment, but the market has not entered panic mode 📌 The crypto market leaned clearly risk-off this week as $BTC fell around 4–5%, briefly dropping toward the $72,600 area before recovering slightly around $73,100–$73,600. $ETH also weakened toward the $2,000 zone, while the Fear & Greed Index stayed in the Fear range of 30–34, showing that defensive sentiment remains dominant. 💡 The biggest pressure came from ETF flows, with spot BTC ETFs recording about $1.26 billion in net outflows, while spot ETH ETFs saw around $216 million leave. As passive institutional buying weakened, the market lost an important support layer, making short-term rebounds harder to sustain. ⚠️ Macro and geopolitical conditions also added to volatility. Iran-related tensions, expectations that the Fed may keep a hawkish stance, and upcoming US economic data all pushed investors to reduce risk appetite.
