CoinShares announces acquisition of Valkyrie Funds
On January 12th, CoinShares, a European digital asset investment company, announced on social media that it has exercised the option to acquire Valkyrie Funds LLC, a US digital asset management company, from Valkyrie Investments Inc. The company's spot Bitcoin ETF (Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund) has been approved this week. As previously reported by BlockBeats, on November 16th, CoinShares announced today that it has obtained exclusive rights to acquire Valkyrie Funds LLC, a US digital asset management company. The company is the investment advisory division of Valkyrie Investments and focuses on operating actively managed cryptocurrency ETFs. CoinShares' acquisition option is effective immediately and expires on March 31st, 2024.
