The three major U.S. stock indexes closed down collectively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.43%, the Nasdaq down 1.67%, and the S&P 500 down 0.89%. Large technology stocks fell across the board, with Tesla down more than 5%, Nvidia down nearly 4%, and Microsoft and Amazon down more than 2%.
