The Flappy Bird Foundation has responded to criticism by claiming to be the true heir apparent and committed to preserving and building on the legacy of the 2013 hit game Flappy Bird, CoinDesk reports. The recent announcement of the game's return as GameFi and its launch on Telegram sparked an outcry from the gaming community, even forcing creator Dong Nguyen to break his seven-year social media silence and speak out against the project.The Flappy Bird Foundation said they legally acquired the trademark rights to the game and re-launched it as a TON of mini-game, with tokens expected to be launched soon.
