Bitfarms: 217 BTC were mined in September, and 173 BTC were sold
Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms has updated its monthly production report. The company reportedly achieved its annual efficiency target of 21 w/TH in three months, with a September Bitcoin mining output of 217 BTC, slightly less than the 233 BTC in August. In addition, Bitfarms disclosed that it sold 173 BTC in September as part of the company's regular funds, with total revenue being $10.5 million. Bitfarms also stated that the special shareholders' meeting originally scheduled for November 6, 2024 to reach a settlement agreement with Riot Platforms Inc., has been rescheduled to November 20, 2024.
