Prudential Group: the Fed's policy is likely to remain unchanged in the near term
In a report on Nov. 7, analyst Blerina Urusi of the Prudential Group said the Fed's policy is likely to remain unchanged in the near term, but the outlook for 2025 is more uncertain. The U.S. economist said, “Traditionally, the Fed takes fiscal policy into account once the executive branch announces it.” At the December Fed meeting, the Federal Open Market Committee is expected to realize the increased uncertainty about the outlook for the economy and inflation, which will affect the future path of monetary policy, Urushi said.
