Fed's Williams: 2% GDP growth expected in 2025 and 2026
Fed Williams said that GDP is expected to grow by 2 per cent in 2025 and 2026 and that the US economy is in good shape. The economic outlook is highly uncertain due to government policies. The US unemployment rate should remain between 4% and 4.25%. The Federal Reserve has made significant progress in reducing inflation; monetary policy has been fully prepared to achieve the Federal Reserve target; moderately restrictive policies should be able to reduce inflation to 2 per cent; inflation is expected to remain around 2.5 per cent this year, and will reach 2 per cent in the next few years.
