Report: Hong Kong Blockchain Companies Have Grown 250% Since 2022

According to the "Hong Kong Financial Technology Ecosystem" report released by Invest Hong Kong, the government department responsible for regulating foreign direct investment in Hong Kong, there are over 1,100 fintech companies in Hong Kong. This includes 175 blockchain application or software companies and 111 digital asset and cryptocurrency companies, which have grown by 250% and 30% respectively since 2022. The report states: "It is expected that by 2032, the revenue of the Hong Kong financial technology market will reach $606 billion USD, with an annual growth rate of 28.5% from 2024 to 2032."
