According to Bitcoin Laws, New York State Assemblyman Clyde Vanel has introduced Assembly Bill 7788, which proposes to allow the state government to accept cryptocurrency payments. Previously, Clyde Vanel had pushed for the establishment of a cryptocurrency and blockchain research task force in support of technological innovation.
