Oracle in Talks with Meta for $20 Billion AI Cloud Computing Partnership
Jinse Finance reported that Oracle (ORCL.N) is in negotiations with Meta Platforms (META.O) over a cloud computing deal valued at approximately $20 billion, further indicating that Oracle has become a significant infrastructure provider. According to sources familiar with the matter, under this multi-year agreement, Oracle will provide computing power to the social media giant for training and deploying artificial intelligence models. The sources said that the total committed amount could increase, and other terms of the deal may change before a final agreement is reached. This contract would further enhance Oracle's cloud infrastructure business. Last week, the company reported a significant increase in bookings, pushing its stock price to a record high.
