Auradine has introduced its next-generation Teraflux bitcoin mining machines, reporting energy efficiency ratings as low as 9.8 joules per terahash.

Founded in 2022 and based in California, the company's U.S. credentials are a big part of its pitch, claiming to be the only U.S.-based firm producing American-engineered bitcoin miners, thereby reducing dependence on overseas hardware suppliers amid increased tariff pressures under President Trump. The industry has long been dominated by Antminer, a product line of China-based Bitmain Technologies with over 80% market share.

"At a time when many miners face rising power costs, heat challenges, overseas shipping delays, and unreliable equipment, Auradine provides a trusted, high-efficiency alternative designed to keep fleets operating at peak performance," the firm said in a statement shared with The Block.

The new range covers air, hydro, and immersion-cooled models, with the strongest performance in the immersion lineup at 10.7 J/TH in normal mode and 9.8 J/TH in eco mode. Air-cooled units operate at 11 J/TH in normal mode and 10.3 J/TH in eco mode, while hydro configurations reach 11 J/TH and 9.8 J/TH, respectively.

In the most economical configuration, Teraflux's latest hydro and immersion models compete with many of the current top-selling ASICs. For comparison, leading Bitmain units such as the Antminer S21 Hydro U3 and S23 Hydro generally fall in the 9.5 J/TH range, while the Antminer S23 and S23 Immersion operate closer to 11 J/TH, per Hashrate Index data.

In terms of hashrate, the new Teraflux series sits slightly below the highest-output machines on the market. The hydro model reaches up to 900 TH/s, compared with up to 1,160 TH/s for the Antminer S21 Hydro U3, while still outpacing units such as the 660 TH/s Sealminer A3 Pro Hydro and 580 TH/s Antminer S23 Hydro. The air and immersion models — at up to 310 TH/s and 360 TH/s, respectively — are in line with mid-range devices like the Antminer S23 (318 TH/s) and Canaan's Avalon A16XP (300 TH/s).

"Our third-generation Teraflux Bitcoin miners deliver a significant leap in performance and efficiency," Auradine co-founder and CEO Rajiv Khemani said. "For too long, miners have had to choose between performance and reliability. We have now finally closed that gap, delivering top efficiency, seamless fleet control, and real customer support in one trusted platform."

Initial samples of the new TeraFlux machines are slated for Q2 2026, with volume shipments planned for Q3 2026.

Fleet management software

Alongside the new hardware launch, Auradine is also expanding FluxVision — its fleet management software suite designed to give operators tighter control over power usage, curtailment, configuration, and updates.

A new mobile app, set to launch on the App Store and Google Play later this month, will provide real-time metrics and fleet control from handheld devices. At the same time, its broader cloud-based dashboard supports hash and power management, automated curtailment scheduling, secure pool configurations, and remote updates across large deployments, the firm said.

Auradine raised $153 million in a Series C round that closed in April, led by StepStone Group, with participation from Maverick Silicon, Premji Invest, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Qualcomm Ventures, Mayfield, MARA Holdings, GSBackers, among others. That brought the firm's total funding to more than $300 million.

The firm previously unveiled the first U.S.-engineered hydro-cooled Bitcoin miner in March and has said its machines power over 40 major data center operators, including MARA.
