Capital B Targets U.S. and Middle East Growth With New Board Advisors
Capital B is gearing up for its next growth phase. The European Bitcoin treasury firm has added two high-profile strategic advisors to its board. The move targets faster expansion in the United States and the Middle East. At the same time, it sharpens the company’s focus on ESG leadership in Europe.
The company appointed Tracy Hoyos Lopez as Strategic U.S. and Middle East Advisor. It also named Daniel Batten as Strategic ESG Advisor. Both will help guide Capital B’s long-term Bitcoin treasury strategy. Alongside these moves, Capital B also launched a new subsidiary in Abu Dhabi. The unit, called Capital B Treasury Limited, will support its global treasury operations. Alexandre Laizet now serves as CEO of this new entity.
Tracy Hoyos Lopez to Drive U.S. and Middle East Expansion
Tracy Hoyos Lopez brings deep experience from the front lines of Bitcoin policy and institutions. She has worked closely with lawmakers and financial leaders in the United States. She also built strong networks across the UAE and the broader Middle East. At Kraken , she helped shape public policy and regulatory strategy. She also played a known role in discussions around the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Now, the company wants her to lead its push into large institutional markets.
Her role will focus on partnerships, policy alignment and institutional access. The goal is simple. Capital B wants to plug into global capital flows faster and with fewer roadblocks. Lopez called Capital B “France’s Bitcoin future.” She said the company stands at the crossroads of innovation and financial freedom. Her message is clear. She sees Bitcoin moving deeper into global markets.
Daniel Batten to Shape ESG Strategy for Bitcoin at Scale
Daniel Batten steps in as the company’s Strategic ESG Advisor. Notably, he is widely known for his work on Bitcoin, energy, and sustainability. In fact, his research on methane capture and renewable-powered mining often reaches policymakers and sovereign funds. Therefore, Capital B wants to strengthen its environmental and governance standards and Batten will help build that framework. Specifically, he will guide transparent reporting and energy strategy.
His role also targets a bigger goal. Capital B wants to prove that Bitcoin treasury firms can align with modern ESG standards. Batten supports that mission. He believes Bitcoin can drive real social and environmental progress when used the right way. This appointment helps Capital B speak the language of large institutions that demand ESG clarity before allocating capital.
Abu Dhabi Base Signals Global Bitcoin Treasury Ambitions
The company’s new Abu Dhabi subsidiary marks a turning point. The firm incorporated Capital B Treasury Limited within the ADGM financial zone. Consequently, this gives it access to one of the world’s most active digital asset hubs. Since the Middle East is racing to attract crypto firms, specifically Abu Dhabi offers clear rules, fast licensing, and global investor access. Therefore, Capital B wants to anchor its treasury strategy there. Currently, Alexandre Laizet now leads this new unit as CEO. He will focus on growing Bitcoin per fully diluted share, a metric that sits at the core of Capital B’s treasury vision.
The company also keeps its bold ambition front and center. It wants to own 1% of the total Bitcoin supply over time. That is a massive target. But with U.S. access, Middle East support, and ESG credibility, Capital B believes the path is now clearer. In short, Capital B is no longer building only for Europe. It is building for global Bitcoin capital markets.
