Bitget updates estimated liquidation price and margin calculation

To improve the futures trading experience, Bitget has upgraded the calculation logic for estimated liquidation price and position margin. The upgrade aims to provide users with more accurate references for risk management. The adjustments are as follows:
1. Optimized estimated liquidation price calculation

A new algorithm now integrates multi-dimensional market data in real time.

The estimated liquidation price better reflects position risk, making alerts more precise and reliable.

2. Updated position margin calculation logic
| Item | Previous formula | New formula | Benefit |
| Margin | Position size × average entry price ÷ leverage | Position size × mark price ÷ leverage | Reflects fair market value in real time |
Note:

The update will affect the following:

Available balance will now be calculated dynamically, with utilized margin deducted from account equity.

Return on equity (ROE) will update in real time. ROE = unrealized PnL ÷ margin.

Existing positions will be recalculated automatically under the new logic.
3. Operational guide

Update your app to the latest version (Android/iOS v3.0.0+).

Head to Futures Account > Position Details to view the updated metrics.
