Data: Crypto Market Raises $520 Million in June This Year, a Record Low in Recent Years
According to RootData data cited by Decrypt, a total of 83 projects raised a cumulative $520 million in June this year, the lowest funding amount in recent years. Last June, the crypto space raised $1.81 billion in 149 funding rounds.
On the track, the infrastructure category led the way with 26 projects raising $213 million in June, down nearly 50 percent from May, with the top project being Gensyn AI, which raised a whopping $43 million in Series A funding led by a16z crypto.
