Upbit Announces the Launch of Mina ($MINA), $MINA Price Up 16.48% in Last 24 Hours
South Korean crypto trading platform Upbit's Bitcoin marketplace will go live on Mina ($MINA). Upbit only supports $MINA deposits from the Mina network, with access to deposits opening by July 11th at 13:00 GMT. Trading in $MINA will open at 15:00 GMT today.
Mina is a Layer 1 proof-of-zero-knowledge-based blockchain with smart contracts written in TypeScript. mina builds a clean cryptocurrency protocol by using the zk-SNARKs (a simple proof-of-concept) consensus mechanism.
$MINA is the native utility token for the Mina Protocol. Users can exchange $MINA like any other cryptocurrency, or choose to pledge their $MINA to receive rewards while protecting the network. The passes will be used to pay for transaction fees, and new $MINA will be minted to pay block producers for creating new blocks.
According to Bitget, Mina ($MINA) has risen 16.48 % in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.488.
