Messari: Polkadot Q2 Revenue Down 32% YoY, 295,000 Monthly Active Users
Messari released its Polkadot Q2 2023 report, which showed that Polkadot's market capitalization declined 16% YoY, from $7.74 billion to $6.24 billion. Revenue was $81,000, down 32% YoY. The average number of daily active accounts in the relay chain was 5,800, down 16% sequentially. At the end of June, there were 3.9 million unique accounts (public key addresses) across the Polkadot ecosystem, up 200,000 YoY and 600,000 year-to-date. With more than 750 full-time developers and a total of 2,000 developers, the entire Polkadot ecosystem averaged 295,000 active users per month in the second quarter, including external signers and token recipients.
