The new proposal from the Arbitrum Foundation suggests that Celo should choose its Orbit technology stack to build an L2 network
Nina Rong, the head of ecosystem development at the Arbitrum Foundation, has submitted a proposal to the Celo community. The proposal suggests that Celo adopt the Arbitrum Orbit technology stack based on Arbitrum OP technology to build customizable L2 and L3 chains. Rong emphasized that the Arbitrum Foundation team has been paying attention to cLabs' proposal for Celo's transition to Ethereum L2, and by proposing the Arbitrum Orbit technology stack as a direction for development, welcomes Celo back into the Ethereum community.
Previously, Polygon and Matter Labs also recommended their respective solutions based on zero-knowledge technology to the Celo community. Celo stated that it plans to make a selection in mid-January so that community members have time to evaluate various proposals.
