Russia may allow cryptocurrency miners to export and sell cryptocurrencies
According to News.bitcoin, the Russian government may allow cryptocurrency miners to sell their cryptocurrencies as export products, similar to natural gas and other exports. Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance, pointed out that this option is part of the cryptocurrency mining legalization bill scheduled for launch in 2022, which would enable miners to conduct these exports in a manner similar to commodities. Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Financial Market Committee, stated that the bill is expected to be approved next year.
Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance, presented the latest progress on this issue at the "Future of Cryptocurrency and Digital Finance" forum. Regarding this matter, Ivan Chebeskov said: "There is an option and a bill - using cryptocurrency exports as products from mining activities. We have developed a concept and a project so that miners can export what they mine as cryptocurrencies as export products. Russia is also forming such legislative measures."
