On December 15, Sun Yuchen, the founder of TRON, participated online in Taipei Blockchain Week 2023 and delivered a keynote speech on "The Future of Inscriptions and Meme Culture in the TRON Ecosystem". Sun Yuchen stated that inscriptions and meme culture will be the focus of the next development stage for TRON. He emphasized that the TRON community has named its inscription ecosystem as Tronscription. Meanwhile, meme culture has become one of the most important areas in the crypto industry, and TRON will actively explore strategies for developing meme culture. Currently, there are over 201 million users on TRON with more than 6.8 billion transactions made and a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $19.7 billion USD. In addition to this, since April 2021, circulation volume of USDT stablecoin on TRON has surpassed Ethereum's version making it number one worldwide.
