Bloomberg Analyst: Still Monitoring ETF Approval Window from January 8th to 10th
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart stated on social media that the period from January 8th to January 10th remains the ETF approval window he is watching. In addition, financial lawyer Scott Johnsson pointed out that in November 2023, the SEC postponed the Franklin/Hashdex application for a full 24 business days before the second deadline (the previous record for a BTC ETF application since 2018 was only 11 business days). He believes the only reason for taking this action is to adjust the comment period for potential simultaneous approval. James Seyffart also expressed agreement with this viewpoint.
