Cboe has approved the listing registration of Fidelity's Bitcoin ETF, but it still needs to wait for SEC approval

Cboe has approved the listing registration of Fidelity's Bitcoin Spot ETF, with the stock code FBTC. The Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund submitted Form 8-A, reporting approval to register its shares as securities on the Cboe BZX Exchange. Although filing Form 8-A is part of the process for registering an ETF with the SEC, it does not necessarily indicate that this investment tool will be approved by the committee.
Bloomberg analyst Seyffart pointed out that Bitwise submitted a Bitcoin Spot ETF registration application to NYSE Arca on December 29th, but analysts said these two applications "do not mean they have been approved or any other information". Volatility Shares Trust filed Form 8-A with SEC before launching leveraged
bitcoin futures ETF stocks on Cboe BZX exchange in June.
