Ethereum core developer meeting determines Dencun upgrade testnet timing
The 178th Ethereum Core Developers Executive Meeting (ACDE #178) was held online. The meeting minutes show that the activation time for the Dencun upgrade on the Goerli testnet has been set for January 17, and it was preliminarily agreed to set January 30 and February 7 as the dates for upgrades of Sepolia testnet and Holesky testnet respectively. Some developers expressed concerns about the short interval between upgrades of Goerli testnet and Sepolia testnet, believing it may not be sufficient to observe potential issues. ACDE #179 is scheduled to take place on January 18; if problems arise within the first 24 hours after upgrading Goerli Test Network, developers will have an opportunity to re-examine subsequent schedule arrangements.
