Bloomberg ETF Analyst: The U.S. SEC is expected to announce the approval of Bitcoin spot ETF between 5:00 and 6:00 on Thursday morning
According to Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, the SEC is expected to announce the approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs between 16:00 and 17:00 Eastern Time on Wednesday (5:00 to 6:00 Singapore time on Thursday morning), and it will be listed locally on Thursday.
Eric Balchunas believes that "the fake tweet about the US SEC announcing the approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs may have been a planned tweet by someone who entered the wrong date because this tweet would make a lot of sense at this time tomorrow. In my view, this style of language sounds like legitimate SEC style, not a prank from some crypto fool."
