ENSDAO initiates the "Upgrade DNSSEC Support" voting, ending on January 25th
ENSDAO has initiated a "Upgrade DNSSEC Support" vote, aiming to promote the deployment of a new version of DNSSEC oracle and DNS registrar by ENS Labs. This version combines with wildcard resolution (ENSIP 10) and CCIP-Read to achieve "Gasless DNSSEC" functionality, supporting the use of DNS domain names within ENS without requiring on-chain transactions and replacing the existing DNSSEC registrars with new registrars. It is reported that existing DNS names will still be able to function as before and can import domains using the "old" method. In addition to the new registrar and oracle contracts, this proposal also hopes to introduce a simple resolver that can read Ethereum addresses to parse domain names from additional data. The voting for this proposal will end on January 25th, currently there are no votes against or abstentions.
