Bitcoin and Ethereum's 60-day rolling correlation has dropped below 70%, reaching the lowest level since 2021
According to data from Kaiko Research, the 60-day rolling correlation between Bitcoin and Ethereum has dropped below 70% for the first time in three years, indicating a change in the relationship between the two largest cryptocurrencies. The data shows that the last time this indicator fell below this level was in early 2021 when Bitcoin entered a price discovery phase after surpassing its previous all-time high. It is reported that a drop below 70% suggests that the volatility of asset prices is not as synchronized as it has been in recent years.
