Cathie Wood: After the launch of Bitcoin spot ETF, investors are starting to shift from gold to Bitcoin
ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood said that after the launch of a Bitcoin spot ETF, investors have started to shift from gold to Bitcoin. She stated, "Bitcoin has been rising relative to gold. Now there is an easier way to access Bitcoin, and we believe this situation will continue." Wood expects that similar to gold, when the banking sector shows signs of weakness, Bitcoin will prove itself as a "safe-haven asset." Regarding the launch of a Bitcoin spot ETF, Wood mentioned that she was not surprised by the recent price adjustment in Bitcoin. However, she pointed out that out of the circulating 19.5 million Bitcoins, 15 million have not moved in 155 days, indicating they are still held by "strong hands," which may suggest that most Bitcoin holders value its longer-term prospects.
