According to Cointelegraph, data from
cryptocurrency tax software provider CoinLedger shows that in 2023, cryptocurrency investors made an average net profit of nearly $900 from
selling cryptocurrencies, a stark contrast to 2022. In 2022, several cryptocurrency companies went bankrupt and investors lost billions of dollars. CoinLedger analyzed the reports of its 500,000 users and found that on average each cryptocurrency investor made a realized gain of $887.60 in 2023. As the industry began to recover, things improved. CoinLedger added: "This is a stark contrast to 2022 - in that year, the median cryptocurrency investor had a loss of $7102."
