CME FedWatch: 97.5% probability of no change in interest rates in March
According to CME FedWatch data, there is a 97.5% probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain interest rates in the range of 5.25% to 5.50% in March. The probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 2.5%. Looking ahead to May, the probability of no change in interest rates is 85.0%, the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 14.6%, and the cumulative probability of a 50 basis point rate cut is 0.3%.
