Founder of SevenX conversational AI model project Ora: Ora may solve problems such as high blockchain AI computing costs
Kartin, founder of the artificial intelligence model project Ora, spoke at the "Decentralized AI House" event hosted by SevenX Ventures, stating that the cost of conducting inference or training AI on the blockchain is very high. This is because the architecture of the blockchain is like performing the same calculation on multiple different computers at the same time, and then everyone puts an approved seal on it. This mechanism means that if a user only wants to perform one inference on any blockchain, it will be executed by thousands of computers, which is too expensive for any DApp.
Kartin stated that Ora proposed a solution of on-chain AI Oracle, which can delegate the calculation to an off-chain node to complete. Therefore, the cost of calculation will become affordable, and Ora needs to decide on a mechanism that is decentralized, permissionless, and resistant to censorship. Users can use on-chain AI oracles for AI models of any scale.
It is reported that the Decentralized AI House event was hosted by SevenX Ventures, co-hosted by MyShell, and supported by teams such as Jessy's Hacker House and EigenLayer. The event invited well-known projects in the "AI+Crypto" field to attend and discuss trends and challenges.
