Bitget Daily Futures News: Bitcoin futures contract holdings slightly decreased, 24-hour trading volume surged
On March 6, the open interest of Bitcoin futures contracts slightly declined, but the 24-hour trading volume surged. Meanwhile, the total open interest and trading volume of Ethereum futures contracts increased significantly. The liquidation of long positions for both exceeded that of short positions, maintaining a relatively balanced long-short ratio. For BTC futures contracts, the total open interest was $31.28 billion (-3.05%), with a 24-hour trading volume of $2162.1 billion (+65.87%). The 24-hour liquidation amount was: Longs $2760.7 million, Shorts $7472 million; Long/Short Ratio: 49.36%/50.64%, Funding Rate: 0.0159%. For ETH futures contracts, the total open interest was $12.11 billion (+1.84%), with a 24-hour trading volume of $9611 billion (+11301%). The 24-hour liquidation amount was: Longs $13908 million, Shorts $7043 million; Long/Short Ratio:50 .15%/49 .85%, Funding Rate :0 .0185%. The top three tokens in terms of increase in future contract holdings were LSK at USD$4 .177m (+35506%) , MYRO at USD$3 .593m (+12782%) , MTL at USD$3 .945m (+10825%).
