io.net: Since the launch of the Ignition plan, the number of GPU miners has exceeded 51,000
On March 11, Solana's DePIN protocol io.net announced on its social platform that since the launch of the Ignition plan, the number of GPU miners has increased from 26,000 to over 51,000 within 10 days. BlockBeats previously reported that on March 5th, io.net announced it had completed a $30 million Series A financing round led by Hack VC with participation from Multicoin Capital, 6th Man Ventures, M13, Delphi Digital, Solana Labs,Aptos Labs,Foresight Ventures ,Longhash ,SevenX ,ArkStream ,Animoca Brands ,Continue Capital,MH Ventures and OKX Ventures as well as industry leaders including Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenk,Aptos founder Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching Animoca Brands founder Yat Siu and Perlone Capital's Jin Kang. The funds raised will be used to build the world's largest decentralized GPU network and address AI computing shortages.
