CME: 97.0% and 81.8% probability of Fed keeping rates unchanged in March and May, respectively
CME "Fed Watch" data show that the Federal Reserve in March to maintain interest rates in the range of 5.25% -5.50% probability of 97.0%, the probability of a 25 basis point cut in interest rates is 3.0%. The probability of maintaining stable interest rates in May is 81.8%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 17.7%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 0.5%.
