The BRC-20 standard will be jointly maintained by L1F, UniSat, and Best in Slot
The anonymous creator of the Bitcoin network BRC-20 standard, Domo, announced that his non-profit organization Layer1 Foundation (L1F) will collaborate with Bitcoin infrastructure company UniSat and Best in Slot to serve as the "primary maintainers" of BRC-20. The BRC-20 token standard operates based on the Ordinals protocol, allowing for transactions of digital assets other than BTC on the Bitcoin network. Ordinals achieves asset tracking, data loading and transfer by writing "inscriptions" on small denominations of BTC (known as satoshis).
