Web3 MMO game platform MetaCene has announced the completion of a $10 million Series A financing round, led by Folius Ventures and SevenX Ventures, with participation from The Spartan Group, Mantle Network, Animoca Ventures, Longling Capital, Comma3 Ventures, IGG, and others. It is reported that MetaCene is currently mainly building the next generation of MMORPG blockchain games, supporting functions such as guild DAO governance, sustainable economic systems, and in-game AIGC editing. The new funds will be used to expand the team and promote user acquisition plans.
