Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific Digital Assets Director: Approval of Spot Bitcoin ETF Sparks Client Interest
Max Minton, Goldman Sachs' Head of Digital Assets for the Asia Pacific region, stated that the recent approval and listing of a spot Bitcoin ETF has sparked interest and revived trading activity among clients. Many large-scale Goldman Sachs clients are exploring this area, with related trades starting to pick up. Minton also mentioned that most demand comes from existing Goldman Sachs clients, primarily traditional hedge funds. The bank is also expanding its "broader client base", including asset management companies, banking customers, and select digital asset firms.
