SWIFT plans to launch a CBDC interconnect system in the next two years
ChainCatcher message, SWIFT, the network for cross-border bank settlement messaging systems, announced plans to launch a CBDC platform in the next two years that will connect different countries' digital currencies with the current financial system. The organization recently completed a six-month test to assess the feasibility of this development, involving 38 institutions including central banks and financial institutions.
