Benchmark: If institutions start investing in Bitcoin ETFs seriously, ETF inflows will increase significantly

Golden Finance reported that brokerage Benchmark said in a research report on Thursday that cryptocurrency miners are the group most affected by the Bitcoin reward halving. The recent increase in BTC prices may save many more efficient players in the Bitcoin network in the short term. Most publicly traded Bitcoin miners have launched or announced plans to increase power and hash rate capacity as a way to adapt to reduced revenue and gross profits. Benchmark also said that the impact of the halving on cryptocurrency prices "may be amplified by concurrent demand shocks" following the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States in January. "We expect that once institutions start seriously investing in Bitcoin ETFs, inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs will grow significantly."
