The global Dogecoin community celebrates DOGE Day, Elon Musk has not published any related posts

According to U.Today, on April 20, the global Dogecoin community is celebrating DOGE Day (also known as Cannabis Day). This year’s DOGE Day follows the fourth Bitcoin halving event. However, Elon Musk, the biggest and most influential Dogecoin fan, has not posted anything about this day so far. Instead, he spread the word about another reason why this day is important to him. Elon Musk retweeted a tweet posted by X user "DogeDesigner" (@cb_doge), a member of DOGE and the X team. The celebratory tweet stated that on April 20, 2023, Starship was launched for the first time by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Later, Starship launched on November 18 of the same year and March 14, 2024. This year, the original meme coin Dogecoin surged to a high of $0.2201 on March 29 and returned to this level again on April 1. The increase in DOGE price was driven by the world’s leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high of $73,750 on March 14. As of this writing, Dogecoin is trading at $0.1519, according to CoinMarketCap data.
