The number of transactions on the Sui chain has surged, and the Spam project has become key
Recently, the number of transactions on the Sui chain has surged, sparking a lot of discussion. The daily transaction volume of Sui even surpassed Solana, raising some doubts. However, Adeniyi, co-founder and CPO of Sui clarified that these are independent transactions and the data is real. Adeniyi attributed this surge to Juzy, the developer of Spam project. Spam is a project similar to Ore on Solana where users earn tokens by continuously sending transactions. The total supply of SPAM tokens is 100 billion with 10 billion mined every day for a total duration of 100 days. Despite these tokens having no functional value, they have been sought after due to their fair distribution, predictable supply and absence of pre-mining by the team. Under the stress test from Spam, Sui chain performed well with successful transaction rates, confirmation speeds and fees all maintained at good levels.
