Observers: Türkiye has already enacted lenient regulations on cryptocurrencies
Golden Finance reported that according to Turkish cryptocurrency mentor Ismail Hakki Polat, Turkey currently has "very mild regulations" on cryptocurrencies, but the parliament does not formulate these regulations. Turkey has two major cryptocurrency-related regulations: One was initiated by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 2021. The regulation prohibits cryptocurrency holders from using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin for payments. Many people expect that the Turkish Parliament will begin to regulate the cryptocurrency market in early 2024, but the draft legislation has not yet been introduced.
