Privy Expands Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Capabilities for Embedded Wallets
Identity verification tool provider Privy has expanded the multi-factor authentication (MFA) function of its embedded wallet and added support for passkeys. After activating MFA, any operation that accesses the wallet's private key, such as signing information, sending transactions, exporting wallets, or restoring wallets on new devices, requires MFA verification. Password keys allow users to use biometric data for verification, thereby enhancing security and experience.
Privy also supports SMS and one-time password verification applications as MFA methods. Privy's toolkit allows developers to integrate web2 login options into their own applications, including email, SMS, and social media logins.
