State Street Bank Chief Product Officer: State Street Bank is eager to enter the cryptocurrency field and provide custody services
According to Fortune Crypto, Donna Milrod, the Chief Product Officer of State Street Bank, explicitly stated that the second oldest bank in the United States is eager to enter the cryptocurrency field. She claimed that "State Street Bank is eager to enter the cryptocurrency market" and as the world's largest custodian, State Street Bank will be the best and safest choice to protect Bitcoin for large financial institutions such as BlackRock. Unfortunately, in January of this year, when the US Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Bitcoin ETF, Coinbase received custody of most of the funds. It is reported that State Street Bank's reluctance is mainly due to concerns about the regulatory policies of the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
