XEROF United Creation: Bitcoin ETFs from BlackRock and others have reduced the growth space for Bitcoin
Marc Taverner, CEO and co-founder of financial service provider XEROF, stated that Bitcoin is gradually becoming a mainstream investment. However, the influx of institutional investors may limit its use as a medium of exchange. Large institutions like BlackRock have purchased massive amounts of Bitcoin ETFs, leading to a decrease in Bitcoin supply and an increase in price, further attracting investments. However, this also results in insufficient circulation supply of Bitcoin, hindering its development as a medium of exchange. Regulators should support more financial products and diversify the uses of Bitcoin to promote healthy market development.
