Ethereum Foundation Core Researcher: If EigenLayer's development direction conflicts with Ethereum's interests, he is ready to terminate his advisory position at any time
ChainCatcher news, Justin Drake, a core researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, tweeted that he recently became an advisor to the Eigen Foundation. Although serving as an advisor can earn many EIGEN token rewards, if the development direction of EigenLayer is contrary to the interests of Ethereum, he is ready to terminate his advisory position at any time and promises to reinvest all advisory income into valuable projects within the Ethereum ecosystem, whether it's investment or donation.
In addition, Justin Drake said that he is very picky about his advisory position and spent more than a year discussing during the negotiation process. The conditions for him to serve as an advisor are that his job responsibilities are limited to researching re-pledge risks and providing advice in personal capacity without appearing in marketing materials.
