Data: A certain whale/institution has returned a loan of 9383 ETH to Aave, equivalent to about 35.71 million US dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa, starting from December 2023, the whales/institutions that were shorting ETH have also started to repay their ETH loans on Aave.
It is reported that this address collateralized a total of 2898 WBTC and 14 million USDC between December 2023 and April 2024, borrowed out 38510 ETH and fully deposited it into Coinbase. It's suspected to be sold off with a value of $93.51 million.
In the past three days, as ETH has risen nearly by 20%, the health factor of this address on Aave has also rapidly declined. Three hours ago it repaid back 9383 ETH (worth $35.71 million), currently its health factor is at 1.48.
Worth noting is that the cost basis for this whale/institution's WBTC position was only $45,906; they are now in floating profit of $62.73 million.
