Mechanism Capital Co-Founder: Meme coins could become a significant political issue debated nationwide in the United States
Cryptocurrency venture capital firm Mechanism Capital's co-founder and partner Andrew Kang stated that so far, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has taken a very laissez-faire attitude towards meme coins. They believe DOGE is not worth investigating. With the rapid growth of meme coins, it will be difficult for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to continue to ignore them. This would be political suicide, but Gensler will never know what the outcome might be. Meme coins could become a major political issue debated nationwide, laying the groundwork for the emergence of a super parabolic trend.
