LayerZero Joint Creation: 23.8% of the total token amount will be distributed to the community and builders

LayerZero co-founder Bryan Pellegrino posted on social media about the approximate distribution of LayerZero token ZRO, stating that 23.8% of ZRO's supply will go directly to the community and builders. Of this, 8.5% will be distributed on the first day (5% core, 3% RFP, 0.5% community pool).

The majority of the remaining tokens will be distributed over the next 36 months with additional retrospective allocations every 12 months as well as some forward-looking RFPs for builders.
