Drift Protocol: Will be migrated to Pyth Oracle
Drift announced on social media that it will migrate to the Pyth oracle, and the price input will be updated from the Push oracle to Pyth's new product, Pull oracle. The existing Push oracle updates data every 400 milliseconds and there are update delays when congestion occurs on-chain.
The Pull oracle was deployed on the Solana mainnet on June 17. It can update prices as needed according to protocol requirements and ensure timely price updates during periods of congestion.
